Radon is an invisible, odorless radioactive gas that can accumulate indoors and is the second leading cause of lung cancer in Canada. Because it can’t be detected without testing, we’ve made it easier than ever to check your home for this silent threat. Through this program, residents can borrow a digital radon monitor for a short period to get a snapshot of their indoor radon levels. The process is simple: borrow a monitor, place it in your home for up to 21 days, and get immediate results. Whether your home is old or new, large or small, radon levels can vary - and the only way to know is to test. Borrow to Breathe empowers you to take that first step toward a safer, healthier home - at no cost.
